Delay in service - Grenada Fast Ferry Service: BEDY Oceanline

Back in October, BEDY ferry service made a soft launch through Facebook and this Web-Magazine pointed out no Booze, Cigarettes were allowed and if you got injured or killed on board then BEDY does not accept liability (This is despite their stating once you on dry land you cease to be THEIR liability, so which is it then?)...

I am not sure if these are the reasons behind the postponing of their start, but again on Facebook there is a notice, and this time it's to confirm their launch is not on schedule;-

The Management of BEDY Oceanline apologizes for the delay in the launching of its ferry service and wishes to inform the general public that the service is still on stream.

This change is due to unforeseen difficulties that we encountered that were beyond our control and we further underestimated the time it would take to put the necessary correcting measures and structures in place.

Presently we are working out some logistical issues and would soon make an announcement with respect to the commencement date.

Our company is looking forward to its bringing to the peoples of the Eastern Caribbean and beyond, a safe and reliable mode of transportation that will provide all their TRAVEL SOLUTIONS.

We sincerely thank the Governments and people of the respective islands for their patience and unwavering support and look forward to being of service to them.

  1. its a good idea long being over due, with the high price of Airline tickets.I believe that venture is from the most high God.it wil suceed.A suggestion, whether the ferry can dock in Vieux-Fort ST.Lucia than castries because of tine @distance.Vieux-Fort to St vincent@Vieux-to Barbados is much closer.it will save tine @fuel.
